Make your own way to the Kuata Island Day Cruises booth located inside on the right when entering the Port Denarau Cruise Terminal. Check-in by 8.15am at the latest.

Embark on a remarkable journey with Awesome Adventures Fiji aboard a high-speed catamaran. Departing from Denarau Marina, you'll cruise through the stunning Mamanuca Islands and onward to the gateway of the Yasawa Islands—your destination for the day, the breathtaking Kuata Island.

Immerse yourself in Fiji’s vibrant marine ecosystem with our Marine Conservation Experience at Kuata Island. Guided by our expert marine biologist, this hands-on adventure offers a deeper understanding of coral reefs and their vital role in marine ecosystem health.

Coral Discovery & Guided Snorkel

Begin with an engaging presentation covering fascinating coral topics, including:
✅ What corals are and how they grow
✅ Their feeding and reproduction processes
✅ Threats to coral health and how we can help protect them

Following the talk, embark on a guided nature snorkel through Kuata Island’s thriving house reef. See firsthand the wonders discussed in the presentation while encountering local & unique marine species. As part of this experience, you’ll actively contribute to reef restoration or assist in managing coral predators, making a meaningful impact on marine conservation.

Coastal Walk & Eco-Initiatives

The experience finishes with a walk along the stunning Kuata Island coastline. Our marine biologist will be searching for marine life in rock pools and the intertidal zone, as well as discussing fun facts about island formation, geology and coastal vegetation. The coastal walk is also an opportunity to remove any plastic from the beach and to plant any mangrove propagules that have washed up.

Lunch & Afternoon Leisure

• After an unforgettable marine experience, unwind with a delicious buffet lunch (served from 12:00 PM) at our island bar and restaurant. Spend the afternoon at your own pace:
• Snorkel off the beach and explore vibrant coral gardens
• Discover walking trails leading to scenic island viewpoints
• Relax poolside with a refreshing cocktail
• Optional Adventures: For thrill-seekers, upgrade your day with activities like an introductory dive, certified diving, or a Fiji cultural experience (additional charges apply).

Purchases on the island (drinks, activities) are charged to a personal account, payable before departure (3.5% credit card fee applies).

Itinerary

      08:00 – Check-in at the Kuata Island Day Cruises booth, Port Denarau Cruise Terminal
⛴️ 08:45 – Depart on Yasawa Flyer II (approx. 1.75-hour journey)

      10:30 – Arrive at Kuata Island & begin your Marine Conservation Experience (subject to tidal               conditions, this may move to the afternoon after lunch)

      12:00–14:00 – Buffet lunch at the bar/restaurant
☀️ Afternoon – Free time for optional activities & relaxation
⛴️ 16:00 – Depart Kuata Island
       17:45–18:00 – Arrive back at Port Denarau

Cancellation Policy  

• No fees applicable should guest have to postpone or amend booking to another travel date up to 1 hour prior to departure.  

• Cancellation 48 – 25 hours prior to travel, cancellation fee 50% of booking value applies. 

• Cancellation 24 hours or less prior to travel or no-show, cancellation fee 100% of booking value applies.
